About me
I’m a tiny girl with a tiny dog. I run to eat and eat to run.
I seek adventures near and far — both athletic and nerdy. I love to run, bike, swim, hike, scuba dive, ski, read (mostly non-fiction), self-taught knitter, watercolor artist and I love to make jewelry. I am also a total foodie, I am self taught from reading cookbooks and watching the Food Network. I prefer human powered gear over gas or battery powered. I am a typical poi-dog (mixed) Hawaiian-Portugese-Filipino-Irish-Polish mix, I was born in Hawaii, moved to Oregon, Colorado and now live in Seattle — so it seems even by location I was meant to love the ocean and mountains equally.
My newest adventure buddy is Havika (“beloved” in Hawaiian). He’s a 27lb chihuahua-cattle dog rescued from the streets of Houston, TX. He’s the running friend I never knew I wanted.
